Christmas in Louisiana

I know it has been forever since I updated. But here is pictures of our first Christmas with Cayden. I had a wonderful and truly blessed Christmas. I hope everyone reading this had as good as Christmas as I did.

To start off this is how Cayden opened presents. He would tear off a piece of paper and hand it to you. It was cute but also a relief since hardly any paper found its way into his mouth.

This picture is of Cayden Christmas morning in my living room. I loved it. It was truly fun watching my son open his presents. P.S. Best Christmas I have ever had.

Here is another picture. Can you read Cayden's shirt? It says, "What Santa don't bring me Grandma will" too cute, huh? Can you see the pants? I love the pants. He actually wears these as pajamas but I didn't have anything for him to wear on Christmas day.

Can you spot Cayden? He is the cute little boy in the red vest. This was Christmas Eve at my grandmothers house and this is all her great-grandchilden minus 2. The girls in the pink are my second cousin's little girls. From left Zac, Cam, Cayden, Grace, Chloe, Madison, and Marlee.

Better picture of Cayden with his cousins.

Picture of Cayden and his mommy.

This is Bill and Cayden opening presents at my grandmother's house.

Another picture of Cayden opening presents. The vest had to come off. The more people that piled in there the hotter it got.

This is Uncle Tip and Cayden. Cayden spotted Phillip's cell phone. This is on Christmas Day at Nana and Papaw's house (my mother and father).

Here is a picture of dear ole dad. Dang he is good lookin, huh?

Here is picture of Bill with his two boys. Chase is showing off his game that he didn't think he was going to get.

This is Cayden opening up Aunt Maddie and Uncle Ed's gift. They gave him a gingerbread man that is a puzzle and comes apart. Okay now I have to tell this story because it is so cute. Cayden loves to give kisses on the mouth. But he has not quite learned how to give kisses with his mouth closed. Therefore, when you get a kiss from Cayden you get a little tongue with the kiss. Okay the story, I walked in the room the other day to find Cayden giving his gingerbread kisses right on the mouth. Too cute! He was in there all alone just a kissing that gingerbread man.

Here is Phillip with one of his gifts. He got some knives.

Mommy and Cayden opening up Cayden lawn mower. It is just like the vaccuum cleaners that make A LOT of noise when you push them. Thank you Nana, we are loving that gift.

Cayden decided he was tired of his presents and went for Papaw's big present. He got a table saw for his shop.

Cayden decided he was tired of opening presents and wanted to sit on top of a present and play with dad's tag spray. Hey Linzay, what is that on your ring finger. Is that an engagement ring? Why yes it is. After nine and 1/2 years Bill finally bought a ring and asked me to marry him. No date set before you go asking. I will have to take a closer picture and post it for all my peeps far away.

So the Bennett and Warren family had a very special Christmas this year. As I said, it was the best Christmas I have ever had. It's something about watching your children enjoy Christmas that warms your heart. I am sure next year will be even better.
I did not get the ring for Christmas. I actually got it on Phillip's birthday, December 22nd. I figured I would let everyone know that tidbit since everyone at work thought it was a Christmas present.
Happy New Year to all,
Linzay
